Lou Fasullo was driving out River Road east of Fort Langley one morning recently, when he was compelled to pull over and take a few photographs. “I came across these two paddlers out in the middle of the Fraser River, in front of the Fort Langley Airport,” he explained. “Their paddle was during a flooding tide as they paddled east on the river. I used the negative space to try to give the viewer the actual size of the river.” The image was taken looking northeast towards Whonnock. (Special to Langley Advance Times)
