A 23-year-old Langley man suffered a non-life-threatening neck wound when he was stabbed with a knife outside Baselines pub in Langley City.
Police arrived at the scene shortly after midnight Monday to find two men lying on top of a third in the middle of the street.
All parties appeared to be “quite intoxicated” a police statement noted.
One of the men was bleeding from the neck area and told officers he had been stabbed by the man on the ground.
The suspect, a 29-year-old also from Langley, was holding a weapon in his hand, a small knife, police said.
The weapon was seized and the suspect arrested without incident.
The victim was transported to hospital for treatment.
