Urban Barn has kicked off its fifth annual Blanket the Country in Warmth campaign. For every $5 in-store donation, Langley Urban Barn locations will deliver a new, fleece blanket to The Gateway of Hope.

Canadian home furnishing and décor company Urban Barn has kicked off its fifth annual Blanket the Country in Warmth campaign.

The fundraiser started Monday and goes until Sunday, Nov. 20. For every $5 in-store donation, Langley Urban Barn locations will deliver a new, fleece blanket to The Gateway of Hope.

New this year, customers will be encouraged to share emotional warmth by sending a personal message through BlankettheCountry.com.

Urban Barn’s goal is to donate 15,000 blankets across the country.

As temperatures drop and the holiday season approaches, the company is suggesting making a donation and giving the gift of warmth in lieu of a stocking stuffer or Secret Santa present.
