Busy month ahead for Langley Chamber of Commerce

Three events scheduled for month of June

Rich Coleman will be the special guest speaker at the Greater Langley Chamber of Commerce’s 81st annual general meeting.

The meeting takes place on June 19 at the Cascades Casino Coast Hotel and Convention Centre (20393 Fraser Hwy.).

Coleman, the Fort Langley-Aldergrove MLA and minister of energy and mines and minister responsible for housing, will provide the audience with a provincial update.

Township Mayor Jack Froese and City Mayor Peter Fassbender will also be on hand to swear in the 2012/13 Chamber board of directors.

Networking takes place from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. with dinner and presentations to follow.

Deadline for tickets is Friday at 5 p.m. Cost is $30 for Chamber members and $45 for non-members.

There are two other Chamber events happening later this month as well.

The Chamber is hosting a free networking event, Open Late for Business, at Best Western Plus Country Meadows (3070 264 St.) from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. on June 26.

RSVP is needed for catering purposes.

The Chamber is also hosting the Power of Engagement Marketing, as part of its Business Breakfast Club, on June 27.

It will be held at the abc Country Restaurant (19219 56 Ave.) with registration at 6:45 a.m. and presentation from 7 a.m. to 8 a.m.

Cost is $20 for Chamber members and $25 for non-members. Breakfast is included.
