Community Pint Program on now

Money collected will go towards Langley Food Bank

Buying a pint of beer at Original Joe’s restaurants will help support the local food bank.

The initiative is part of the Community Pint Program, which will see 50 cents from each each feature pint donated to local food banks.

The program is in its third year and is done across Western Canada with $410,000 raised so far through the Community Cares Fund.

“It was very important to Original Joe’s that we continue to support food banks, especially now,” says Elena Remoundos, the marketing and communications manager for Original Joe’s.

“Thousands of Canadian families rely on the services provided by food banks, so we want to ensure that the resources are always available for those who need it.”

Original Joe’s has partnered with Stella Artois, Goose Island Beer Company and Shock Top in the program.

It runs until Jan. 31.

Original Joe’s is located at #11 20811 Fraser Hwy. at Fraser Crossing.
