Nominations are being accepted to help celebrate employers who hire people with disabilities.
“The Celebrating Inclusive Employers event is a great way to recognize employers who believe in inclusion and provide meaningful employment opportunities for adults with developmental disabilities,” said Seonag Macrae, the CEO of Community Living BC.
“These awards also help to raise community awareness about the importance of inclusive employment.”
The event is sponsored by Community Living BC, Rotary at Work BC, Lantrax Logistics, the Langley Association for Community Living and Vancity.
Deadline to nominate an employer is Oct. 8 and submissions can be sent to Dave Stark at dstark@rotaryatworkbc.com.
The employers and business owners will be celebrated on Oct. 15 at the Chartwell Renaissance (8888 202 St.)
