Fashion Addition held a party on Sunday at Newlands Golf and Country Club as a thank you to their customers. The event raised $3,500 for the Arthritis Society.

Twenty-five years in business is a lot to celebrate and that’s exactly what Fashion Addition did.

On Sunday, all their customers were invited to a day of appreciation at Newlands Golf and Country Club.

With champagne, hors d’oeuvres, a Paris theme and interactive fashion shows where the audience could try on the models’ coats and other clothes, fun was had by all of the 150 guests who attended.

“Twenty-five years of being in business can only be thanks to your clients.

“We’ve built relationships over the years and that was evident on Sunday,” said Fashion Addition owner Marilyn Booth.

She was thrilled with the turnout and with how fun the day was.

One of Booth’s first customers showed up to the anniversary celebration, along with many familiar faces.

While her Langley store has always supported the Arthritis Society, funds raised from the day totalled $3,500.

In 1987, Booth and her husband Bill opened up their plus sized clothing store in the Willowbrook Shopping Centre.

Today, there are seven thriving Fashion Addition stores in B.C.
