The hard work of renovating their hotel has not gone unnoticed for the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Langley.
The local hotel, which underwent a major modernization and renovation program during the last year, received the IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group) 2011 Renovation Award.
They received their award last month a the IHG Americas Investors and Leadership conference in Las Vegas. They were one of 45 hotels to receive the award from a portfolio of more than 4,400 hotels.
“The Holiday Inn Express and Suites Langley demonstrated its commitment to enhancing the guest experience with the renovation of its property last year, even during challenging economic times,” said Kirk Kinsell, president of the Americas, IHG.
The renovations were completed in March.
A trophy honouring the award will be on permanent display at the hotel.
