Langley's chamber of commerce continues to grow and ranks as the third fastest growth in the nation.
The Chamber of Commerce Executives of Canada (CCEC) is the national association that tracks such things. The CCEC has ranked the Greater Langley Chamber of Commerce as the third fastest growing large chamber in Canada, and the fastest growing chamber in B.C.
"At our core, the Langley chamber is a community-building organization that works to connect, support and advocate for our local businesses and employers, and to support the success of both our economy and our community. We're thrilled to have seen such growth and for that to have been recognized nationally," said Cory Redekop, chamber CEO .
The Langley Chamber now represents more than 1,160 member businesses and organizations across Langley Township, City of Langley, and beyond.
Redekop noted that the growth makes it one of the largest and most active chambers in the province, and has realized growth of 25 per cent over the past three years.
“I am excited to announce CCEC’s first annual ranking of Canada’s fastest growing Chambers of Commerce. Congratulations to these leading Chambers and their dedicated staff whose persistence and passion are uniting business communities across Canada,” said Becky Davison, President of CCEC.
