Otter Co-op Liquor Store begins construction in Aldergrove

New three-storey building will be a destination retail and wine tasting facility

Otter Co-op held a sod turning for the new Otter Co-op Liquor Store and Administration Building in Aldergrove, Nov. 21. Otter Co-op board members, CEO Jack Nicholson, and director ofoperations Mike Will were in attendance, along with Steven Bartok from Keystone Architects and Ed Kobes from Mierau Contractors.

Otter Co-op held a sod turning for the new Otter Co-op liquor store and administration building in Aldergrove.

The new facility will be built adjacent to the Otter Co-op Retail Centre at 3650 248th Street.

The three-storey commercial/retail development will have a total of 23,000 square feet. It will be a destination retail and wine tasting facility serving the Fraser Valley area, as well as a central hub of Otter Co-op’s adminstrative functions.

Otter Co-op is proud to be partnering with Mierau Contractors on the building of this project in Aldergrove.

The sod turning took place Tuesday, Nov. 21, with Otter Co-op Board members, CEO Jack Nicholson, and Director of Operations Mike Will in attendance, along with Steven Bartok from Keystone Architects and Ed Kobes from Mierau Contractors. Construction of the facility is now underway, with a planned opening for late 2018.
