Willowbrook Shopping Centre is set to host an Outdoor and Active Living Expo on Saturday (May 9).
The free, indoor, family-friendly event will feature fun activities, demonstrations, exhibits, and giveaways to celebrate the great outdoors. The first 500 people who attend will receive a free outdoor-themed goodie bag.
There are more than 35 exhibits from community partners showcasing outdoor adventures from camping to rafting, surfing, horseback riding, team sports and more.
There are also seven interactive activity stations for kids, including painting a birdhouse, wildlife face painting, make your own medal, fishing for prizes and more.
Local entertainers The Heels, Robyn and Ryleigh, Danielle Marie and Brad Darrid will perform on stage.
The expo runs from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
