Greater Langley Chamber of Commerce will hear how Port Metro Vancouver expansion plan will impact City, Township

The Port Metro Vancouver expansion plan and how it will impact the City and Township of Langley will be the topic of discussion at the Greater Langley Chamber of Commerce dinner meeting next week (Feb. 17).

Port Metro Vancouver’s Cliff Stewart, the vice-president of infrastructure, will provide an overview of how they are creating capacity in the gateway to facilitate Canada’s growing trade.

“We have invited Port Metro Vancouver to present … so that guests can learn how goods movement through our region, including rail, will impact Langley directly,” said Langley Chamber president Kristine Simpson.

The meeting will take place at the Cascades Casino Resort Ballroom (20393 Fraser Highway) with networking from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. It will be followed by dinner and presentations.

Cost to attend is $35 for Chamber members and $50 for non-members.

To register, call 604-530-6656 or visit www.langleychamber.com.

Registration closes at 5 p.m. tomorrow (Friday).
