The winners of a popular downtown competition received their prizes last week.

Win This Window is a Christmas promotion of the Downtown Langley Business Association.

With every purchase made at any of  60 participating businesses, shoppers received an entry form — and there was no limit to the number of times they could enter.

After filling out her entry form at Choo Choos restaurant, Bev Cobbaert is now planning a holiday in the sun.

She won the restaurant’s travel package of a week’s all-inclusive trip for two at the five star Hotel Grand Palladium in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.

The prize is valued at $3,650 and includes air fare, all meals, drinks and entertainment at the resort and return transfers from airport to hotel.

Karen Goodman shopped at C & R Hobbies and won a Mac Package which includes a 15”, 2.2 GHz, Intel Core i7 MacBook Pro, a 32 GB iPad 2 with Wi-Fi and a 32 GB iPod touch. The prize is worth $3,200 and connects Goodman with the latest in technology.

Karen Cochran shopped at Fraser Highway Brewmasters and won a ‘Ladies Package’ which includes a custom designed 14kt white gold ring set with five round brilliant cut diamonds, a pair of 10kt white gold hoop earrings with 32 diamonds, a Citizen Eco-Drive watch and a sterling silver Pandora bracelet featuring Murano glass and silver charms.

The winners of the contest, which is sponsored in part by The Times, were announced on Jan. 2, and received their prizes on Jan. 10.
