Vancouver radio show hosts, Nat and Drew, will emcee this year’s LAPS gala on Nov. 5. Tickets are still available for the event. This year’s theme is Alice Through the Looking Glass.

Nat and Drew, hosts of the 103.5 QMFM morning show, will host the ninth annual Furry Tail Endings LAPS gala being held Nov. 5 at the Coast Hotel and Convention Centre.

Tickets are still on sale for the event, which includes an evening of dinner, dancing and live entertainment, with proceeds going to LAPS, operators of Langley’s Patti Dale animal shelter.

LAPS is a registered non-profit society that promotes the physical, emotional and psychological well being of companion animals in Langley.

Radio host Nat Hunter is an animal lover and has helped host a number of animal fundraisers over the years.

The Alice Through the Looking Glass-themed event will bring together hundreds of animal lovers and will feature many amazing silent auction items.

The event is presented by the Schreder Brothers Real Estate Group, with the welcome drink sponsored by the Animal Emergency Clinic of the Fraser Valley and entertainment courtesy of the Valley Group of Companies.

LAPS has unparalleled animal enrichment programs to reduce stress and keep animals healthier and happier while they wait for new homes.

Thorough adoption procedures ensure that LAPS dogs and cats find the best possible homes.

They also help animals living in the community with their pet food bank and Trap, Neuter, Release program for feral cats.

Tickets are $125 per person or $1,250 for a table of 10 and can be purchased by calling the shelter at 604-857-5055, or visiting during office hours at 26220 56 Ave.
