Award-winning photographer and birder John Gordon took a 20,000-km trip across Canada in the summer, aiming to see as many bird species as possible.
But there was more to the trip than just birds.
Gordon’s coast-to-coast journey included visits to Saskatchewan’s Chaplin Salt Lake, Manitoba’s southern grasslands, Ontario’s Agawa Rock Pictographs, New Brunswick’s Grand Manan Island and Newfoundland’s Cape St. Mary’s Ecological Reserve.
On Wednesday, Sept. 16, from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. he will be sharing his experience at Muriel Arnason Library.
