Angel Tree program helps needy

Envision Financial is hosting the Angel Tree program until Dec. 3.

Envision Financial is hosting the Angel Tree program until Dec. 3, to help spread some holiday cheer to children and seniors in need.

All 15 participating Envision Financial locations will display a decorated Christmas tree with angels that represent a child or senior in the local community. Members of the general public are encouraged to take an angel from the tree and return it with a new and unwrapped gift to any participating branch by Dec. 3. All gifts and/or cash donations collected will be delivered to a local non-profit agency or Christmas bureau.

“Envision is committed to making a positive and meaningful difference in the communities in which we live and work,” says Susan Byrom, manager of corporate citizenship. “There are many families in need in our communities who may not have the resources to purchase Christmas gifts for their children. By participating in Angel Tree, local residents have the opportunity to make the holidays brighter for these families.”

“We are thrilled that Envision Financial will once again be supporting Deltassist, and many other organizations, through the Angel Tree program,” said Carly Geistlinger of Deltassist.

In 2010, four Envision branches participated in the Angel Tree program to provide new, unwrapped toys to children in the Delta and Surrey communities.  In 2011, this annual holiday giving program has been expanded region-wide to support eight communities.

Participating Envision locations in Langley are in Langley City, at 20627 Fraser Highway; Willoughby, 20193 64 Ave. and the regional office, 6470 201 St.
