BC Children's Hospital home lottery underway

In just over one month of ticket sales, BC Children’s Hospital Dream Lottery is outpacing last year. BC Children’s Hospital Lottery historically sells out. One reason may be the quality of prizes. As one ticket buyer said, “How can you not support the kids . . . and it’s easy when the prizes are so tempting. I love the house in Fort Langley so much, I’ve already moved in (in my dreams).”

Ticket sales for the biggest home lottery of the summer are ahead of last year’s pace.

One reason may be the quality of prizes. As one ticket buyer said,  “How can you not support the kids . . . and it’s easy when the prizes are so tempting. I love the house in Fort Langley so much, I’ve already moved in (in my dreams).”

People who are interested in buying tickets for this lottery are reminded that the “Bonus Bundle — Dream Bonus Prize” deadline is Sept. 9.

Two winners receive a pair of Vancouver Canucks season tickets or they can choose a luxury vacation for two to Fiji or choose $9,000 cash each.

This year’s early bird draw is a 2012 BMW 650i Cabriolet or $100,000 cash, plus there are seven more early bird prizes to win, of amazing vacations for two.  Early bird deadline is midnight Oct. 7, with the draw Oct. 31.

There are five grand prize choices and over 3,000 prizes to win, including 31 trips to give away throughout October.

The grand prize homes are located in South Langley, Fort Langley, Vancouver’s Coal Harbour and Victoria’s Cordova Bay, and are worth up to $2.5 million.

These homes are the main attraction for many of the ticket buyers.

Winners can choose a home or take $2 million tax-free cash. Photos and virtual tours are available online at bcchildren.com.

Tickets are three for $100, six for $175, nine for $250 or 20 for $500 and are available at 604-692-2333 or  online at bcchildren.com.

Tickets can be bought in person at London Drugs, Save-On-Foods, Price Smart Foods, Overwaitea Foods, Coopers Foods, Urban Fare and at the grand prize homes.

The grand prize homes are open for viewing from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. The two Langley homes are located in the High Point development, at 20134 2 Ave. and at Bedford Landing in Fort Langley, at 23133 Muench Trail.
