Langley’s 12th International Festival will be held on Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 25 and 26, at Willoughby Community Park, 7888 200 St.
Dr. Sarwan Randhawa, the communications and media director for the festival society, described the event as a festival which highlights Canada’s “cultural mosaic.”
It will feature people from more than 70 countries displaying their traditions in several different ways, such as performing arts, participating in an international marketplace and food pavilions.
Every year, the festival brings together more than 20,000 people from all walks of life for a weekend of learning, family fun and cultural enlightenment.
Mark your calendar for two days of multicultural entertainment through colourful ethnic performances, visual arts, sports, an international marketplace, taste a world of food, and take part or watch a number of activities.
Volunteers and sponsors are needed for this event.
