Bill Noble and his 1932 Ford Highboy Roadster.

Name: Bill Noble

What is your current ride?

1932 Ford Highboy Roadster

First car? 1955 Chevy two-door wagon.

Worst car? 1973 International pickup. Drove it to the (B.C.) Interior and broke down every couple hundred miles.

Longest project, start to finish? The second build on my 1933 Ford three-window coupe. Started 1980, finished 1992.

What makes you reach for the swear jar? Parts that won’t fit the way they are supposed to, especially if it is supposed to be easy.

What’s your perfect drive? A long winding road in a car that never runs out of gas.

If money was no object, what car would be in your garage tomorrow? A better version of what I have now or a ‘33 Ford three-window.

Need for speed or quiet country road? A quiet country road is good for carving some fast curves, but all out drag race is great as well.

Are you a regular at Langley Good Times Cruise-In, and why or why not? I come out in morning to have quick walk through to look at cars. I don’t enter my car because I don’t want to be stuck there all day.

Which is better – driving a car or working in the garage? Driving is the point but getting a project done the way you wanted it is quite satisfying.
