Langley Garden Club hosts its annual spring show and sale Saturday

The event takes place at five corners in Murrayville and at nearby Sharon United Church.

The Langley Garden Club will host its 34th annual spring show and sale on Saturday, April 25, from 9 a.m to 2:30 p.m.

The event will be held at the historic five corners in Murrayville, and the Sharon United Church at 216 Street and 48 Avenue.  The parking lot at the corner will feature many gardening vendors, including Buds N Petals, Art’s Nursery, Erikson’s Daylily Gardens, Gloucester Green Nursery, Kramers Kreations and more, offering many different products and gardening advice.

Across the street, the garden club will have a large tent containing its annual plant sale. There is also a book sale.

On the lower level of the church, there will be floral arrangements and displays. This is a juried show and shows the best blooms of the season.

Another highlight inside the building will be a delicious bake sale and a refreshment area, where visitors can have coffee, tea, and many goodies.

They will also be able to enter the fun raffle and take a chance at winning one of many prizes available.

This is always a rain-or-shine event, and is a good place for gardeners to visit, as they get ready for spring planting.
