The Langley Garden Club will hold its 32nd annual spring show and sale on Saturday, April 27, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The show will again be at Sharon United Church, at 216 Street and 48 Avenue in historic Murrayville. The club will host a juried flower show on the lower level of the church, with hundreds of spring flowers to be seen and admired. There will also be a photography contest and a children’s section.
Langley Township Mayor Jack Froese will present the winning ribbons to the children at 2 p.m. Inside will also be a refreshment area, a draw for amazing prizes and the club’s bake sale, which is always popular.
In the parking lot, the club tent will be set up, with dozens of plants for all gardeners — potted, growing and ready to transplant.
Several vendors will also be on hand — Gloucester Green Nursery, My Favorite Plants and Erikson’s Daylily Gardens, among others.
This is a rain or shine event, and is popular with gardeners and those who want to admire the fabulous blooms.
Langley Garden Club meets monthly and members learn from a variety of interesting speakers.
