Emerson Curtis was crowned the 2017 May Queen on Sunday in Fort Langley at the Royal Party Tea fundraising event for the 95th May Day Parade and events.

The Queen Mother will be Mary Watt.

Her maids of honour are Abigail Zimmerman and Alexandra Kupka. Elene Facer was named Miss Canada.

The May Day Parade on Victoria Day will be held on Monday, May 22 starting at 11 a.m.

The parade will begin on Church Street and end at Fort Langley Community Park.

Once in the park, the May Queens and the Royal Party will be piped in.

There will be May Pole dancing, live entertainment, the Lions famous BBQ Chicken, rides for the children, mini golf for everyone and more.
