The annual Langley Seniors Resource Centre garage sale is set for Oct. 17, giving people a chance now to sort through and find items they may wish to donate.

Drop off is Monday to Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and the centre can make arrangements for pickup for those unable to transport donations. Call 604-530-3020. Items should be clean, in working condition and sellable.

The sale has become an important annual fundraiser for the seniors’ centre, 20605 51B Ave.

The centre asks that some items not be donated: bike helmets, blankets and pillows, children’s car seats, encyclopaedias, old exercise equipment, hockey pads, mattresses, old microwaves, printers, stuffed toys, textbooks, old toaster ovens, opened toiletries and cosmetics, upholstered furniture, VHS tapes, audio cassette tapes, and old, non-functioning electronics.
