A Langley woman got a big gift from a scratch and win ticket recently.

Janet Rube had forgotton the Set for Life ticket she received recently, and only found it when looking for some paperwork.

She scratched the ticket and won the grand prize of $675,000, just a month before the ticket’s expiry date.

“I called my kids right away to share the news,” said Rube. “I was still in shock myself as I told them the news. They are so happy for me but it’s still so surreal!”

“I plan to make a few renovations to the house but will save the rest for the future,” Rube said.

The winning Set for Life ticket was purchased at the Save-On-Foods on Fraser Highway in Langley.
