Help is needed for the annual Aldergrove Christmas Light Up Parade and After-Party, taking place this year on Saturday, Dec. 8, starting at 6 p.m.
The parade runs the length of Fraser Hwy. in downtown Aldergrove and culminates with a party with Santa, food and fun for kids at the hall at 273rd Street.
Parade co-ordinator Donna McCaskill says they have volunteer opportunities available throughout the day, such as marshalls for the parade, parking lot attendants, as well as assisting with the After-Party and some volunteer elves to assist Santa.
The hours vary depending on which role the volunteers prefer, starting at 3 p.m. and ending after the party at 8 p.m.
“Please let me know if you can assist and your preferred availability. We appreciate your help,” said McCaskill.
