Music, shopping and charity at Garnett Holiday Helper Cafe

Local vendors and live music will be part of the event, with proceeds going towards the Christmas Bureau.

Musicians Amy Sicolo and Marika Siewert will be featured at a shopping event at R.C. Garnett Elementary on Thursday, Nov. 29.

Sicolo, a Garnett parent, and fellow parent   Caree Bray came up with the idea to host a shopping event that would feature local vendors, great music, and food, while supporting charity at the same time.

The Holiday Helper Café and Live Music will run at the school, 7096–201 St., from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. People can shop in a market-type setting, with more than 25 vendors, while supporting the community. Admission will be by cash donation to support R.C. Garnett’s sponsorship of families through the Langley Christmas Bureau, with table rental funds going towards the school’s earthquake supplies.
