Old and New Day is on again at Langley's farm museum

The BC Farm Museum hosts Old and New Day on Sept. 7.

A children’s scavenger hunt and demonstrations of machines more than a century old are highlights of Old and New Day at the BC Farm Museum.

The museum has held the special Labour Day exhibit for the past few years, showcasing antique and vintage items and their modern counterparts.

The day features a demonstration of a 1930s flour mill, a 1908 wooden pipe, early surveying equipment and more activities indoors and outdoors. There’s prizes for the scavenger hunt.

People can then top off their time with snacks like corn on the cob.

Find out more about the day and the volunteer-run museum at www.bcfma.com or call 604-888-2273.

The museum is at 9131 King St. in Fort Langley.
