A leading scholar of the works of Narnia-creator C.S. Lewis will speak about the popular fantasy author at TWU.
Michael Ward, an Oxford senior research fellow, will lecture on art, reason, and imagination in Lewis’s works.
The Chronicles of Narnia are Lewis’s most famous creation, a series of seven children’s fantasy novels.
Ward will base his lecture on his book Planet Narnia: The Seven Heavens in the Imagination of C.S. Lewis.
Ward’s interest in Lewis began when his parents read him the Narnia books as a child.
He has been writing about Lewis since he was an undergrad.
“I then stumbled upon the imaginative blueprint of the Narnia books in 2003, and that has dominated my whole professional life ever since.”
