Lollipop the clown makes her way along the parade route at last year’s Community Day parade in Langley City. Entries are now being accepted for this year’s event, which happens on Saturday, June 18.

Have an idea you'd like to float? Enjoy clowning around? Do you march to the beat of your own drum?

The City of Langley is now accepting registrations for this year’s Community Day Parade.

The event will take place on Saturday, June 18 starting at 10 a.m., and will move east along Fraser Highway, from 201A to 207 Street.

Following the parade, everyone is encouraged to join in the Community Day festivities at Douglas Park, 20550 Douglas Cres., where there will be  live entertainment, kiosks and a firefighter challenge.

Registration forms are available at http://langley2.xplorex.com/community_day.htm or can be picked up at Douglas Recreation Centre or Timms Community Centre. For more information or to get involved in this year’s parade, call 604-514-2902 or email events@langleycity.ca.
