Aldor Acres held a special opening Friday noon to 6 p.m. but could not announce the fundraiser until some special guests arrived.

The farm's three-year-old sow gave birth three days previous and the piglets were old enough to meet the public. Aldor hosted Piggies for People, allowing admission by donation with all funds doing to the Salvation Army's Gateway of Hope in Langley.

The farm attraction isn't open yet for the season but holds a few special openings during the off season. The next opportunity for the public to visit is for Mother's Day, May 8.
