Realtors Care Blanket Drive runs to Dec. 3

Donations of warm clothing, blankets and sleeping bags are needed to help out trio of Langley charities

Langley Realtor Natalie Evaniew has been collecting and delivering donations of warm clothing and blankets with the Realtors Care drivefor the past five years.

The annual Realtors Care Blanket Drive is back.

Real estate agents in Langley and Surrey are once again asking the public to donate coats, blankets, sleeping bags, hats, mitts and other warm clothing (jeans, sweatpants, hoodies) to help keep somebody else warm this winter.

Among the charities that will benefit from people's generosity are the Salvation Army's Gateway of Hope homeless shelter, Wagner Hills Ministries and Ishtar Transition Housing Society.

This year,  the Gateway of Hope alone has requested 100 or more large bags of donations.

The drive runs until Dec. 3 at nine drop-off locations throughout the communities. Six are listed below. The entire list can be found here.
