Veterans and residents gathered for the Langley City Remembrance Day ceremonies last year.

One of the area’s biggest gatherings for Remembrance Day is in Langley City. The cenotaph is located in Douglas Park. The ceremony starts with a parade from the Legion Branch 21 at 20681 56th Ave.

The procession of veterans and others leaves there at 10:40 a.m. It heads from the branch down Salt Lane and Fraser Highway on to Douglas Park for the 11 a.m. ceremony. The Fraser Blues flying group will do a flypast during the ceremony.
