Four year old Emily Scott was carried by Santa at a breakfast event organized by the Langley Child Development Centre on Dec. 3.

Dozens of families gathered on Dec. 3 at the annual breakfast with Santa organized by the Langley Child Development Centre.

There were 430 people taking part in three servings of breakfast at the Langley Golf Centre in Murrayville, said Cora Boecker, supervisor of the centre's infant development program. This was the 11th annual Christmas breakfast event.

"We started this for them to come to a place where all behaviour is acceptable and understood," said Boecker.

Sponsors help out with funding the event, which is both a fundraiser and an event for families who use the centre.

A few changes were made this year that went over well.

"The elf was quite a big hit," said Boecker.

Pacific Trackless Trains also had a small train on hand to give rides to kids and bring Santa in to make his big entrance.
