Community potluck party held in Langley to celebrate ‘peace, love and pie’

The community is once again invited to come together for an outdoor potluck that celebrates “peace, love and pie.”

Project Potluck is returning to the parking lot of Well Seasoned Gourmet Food Store on Aug. 26 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Hosted by store owner Angie Quaale, members of the public are invited to attend and bring a favourite family-sized dish, along with cutlery, plates and folding chairs.

“Food is a catalyst in bringing people together to create community,” Quaale said.

“A potluck, especially, is a fantastic way to bring friends and neighbors together. It’s easy on the budget and a fun way to break bread. Last year’s Project Potluck event attracted more than 100 community members who gathered on very short notice to celebrate peace, love and Pie. I look forward to welcoming even more members of our community to join us for another fantastic evening.”

Well Seasoned is located at #117 20353 64 Ave.
