One of the sure signs of spring in Fort Langley is the outrigger canoe club preparing for its annual time trials. As paddlers gear up for the season, they turn to a few time-honoured tricks to gain an edge, said photographer Lou Fasullo. According to Dave (above) one simple way to make the canoe glide faster in the water is by applying a coat of Turtle Wax to reduce friction on the hull.
