Langley Demonstration Garden to play host to picnic, pollinators in July

Langley Demonstration Garden will be a Pollinators’ Paradise on July 20, when visitors are invited to stop by and learn about the principles and benefits of planting a pollinator garden.

Picnics in the Park

Bring along a picnic and join the Township of Langley and Langley Environmental Partners Society on July 18 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Langley Demonstration Garden for garden tours and fun activities for the whole family.

Some barbecue items and snacks will be available by donation. The garden is located in the Derek Doubleday Arboretum (21200 block of Fraser Highway).

Pollinators’ Paradise

Learn about local pollinators, discuss their role in the local environment, and discover the principles and benefits of planting a pollinator garden. This workshop, open to participants ages 14 and up, takes place July 20 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Langley Demonstration Garden in Derek Doubleday Arboretum (21200 block of Fraser Highway).
