TONIGHT: Christmas Charity Auction returns, benefiting Bigs

Murrayville Town Pub is once again hosting its annual fundraiser on Thursday, Nov. 24.

Collectibles, sports memorabilia, toys, and other Christmas gift ideas are up for grabs tonight at Murrayville Town Pub, auction style.

Every year, pub owner John Pybus hosts what’s called the Christmas Charity Auction at the end of November.

For 2016, that event is happening tonight (Thursday, Nov. 24) starting at 7 p.m.

Pybus spends the entire year collecting donations for his annual live auction event that raised about $25,000 a year for charity.

This year, the beneficiary of the event is the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Langley.

Given the popularity of the event, guests are encouraged to come early to reserve a table and have some dinner.

The pub is located at 22070 48A Ave.
