Township firefighters collect donations for wildfire relief effort

Donations will be accepted until 2 p.m. July 21 at Costco Langley

Just two hours after setting up a tent in front of Costco, Township local 4550 firefighters have received dozens of donations for the wildfire relief effort.

The group will be collecting items until 2 p.m. before heading up to Kamloops this afternoon to deliver them.

In particular, they are in need of pasta sauce, tuna, fruit cups, apple sauce cups, snack foods such as chips or cookies, baby formula, socks, underwear and kids bathing suits.

Costco is located at 20499 64 Ave.
