Hands down the most popular activity of the day at Kwantlen Polytechnic University’s Science Rendezvous and Open House was the glitter slime making display.
The lineup for kids to make a fist-sized glittery glob stretched down the hall of one of the buildings on the Langley post-secondary campus.
Many of KPUs rooms were busy throughout the annual event as huge crowds took advantage of the opportunity to play for a day but in a scientific way.
Each department offered hands-on activities and displays as the campus took part in the national initiative. Science Rendezvous is Canada’s science festival. More than 300 events in 30 cities occurred Saturday.
But guaranteed KPU’s event was the only one with beer samples by the campus brewing program that is based in Langley.
