Club president Stefano D'Errico said it was one of the oldest car shows still happening in B.C.
"We have been continuously doing this for 40 years now, so we're quite proud of that," D'Errico, who was interviewed in front of his classic Falcon.
"It's because of my first car that I bought with my dad," he told the Langley Advance Times when asked how he became interested in older cars.
"It was a Ford Falcon. It was a four-door. Half of the engine was sitting in the trunk when I bought it for $200. It brought a lot of fond memories to me that my dad and I put it together. Really basic car."
" I just decided I really like the Ford Falcons. So this one I actually bought after I joined the club. I joined the club without actually having a car and I just sort of announced myself saying 'I'm a big fan, I want to buy one,' and a few months later I was able to convince one of the club members to sell me their car."

All proceeds from the Sept. 2 event, after paying the bills, will go to the Kruise for Kids charitable event for the Lower Mainland Christmas Bureau.
The club was first organized by a small group of Falcon owners, founded in 1983 as the Lower Mainland Falcon Owners Association.
In 1990, the club invited owners of 1962 to 1970 Fairlanes and 1960 to 1967 Comets to join.
