The 2018 Quilt Show, put on by the Langley Quilter’s Guild, will display 318 quilts

Friday and Saturday at the George Preston Rec Centre in Langley will play host to the 2018 Quilt Show by the Langley Quilter’s Guild.

Show times are from Friday at 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The 2018 Quilt Show marks the 15th anniversary of the Langley Quilter’s Guild. To celebrate the anniversary, the Quilt Show Challenge revolves around the number “15” in which contestants can use 15 colours, 15 blocks, 15 themes or anything that will represent the number “15.”

The show will also include 318 quilts from all members of the Langley Quilter’s Guild and roughly 50 quilts from the rest of the community.

There will be a tea room, a vendors aisle and a memorial section for members who have died since the 2017 Quilt Show.
