VIDEO: Thanks for sharing your beautiful backyard images

Share pictures of winter in your yard before Dec. 31 deadline, and you could WIN!.

With the threat now of freezing rain hitting Langley today, that presents a whole new series of potential photos for faithful Langley Advance Facebook followers to send in.

A few weeks ago, as one of the first real dumps of snow began to fall on the Lower Mainland, this community newspaper – which has been serving Langley for 86 years – put out a call for pictures or video of winter in your backyard.

Many shared, and “we’d like to thank each and every contributor for participating.”

We’ve compiled those images into a video for your enjoyment.

In the meantime, there was a contest component to this request, and there’s still time to enter.

By submitting video or photos depicting what winter looks like in your backyard before midnight on Sunday, Dec. 31, you’re automatically entered to win a $40 gift card to Cora’s.

Just visit this Facebook post and add your submission before the deadline. Good luck, one and all.
