Walk and learn at Campbell Valley Park

Naturalist Al Shulze will lead an informative walk around the South Langley park, beginning at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 28

Learn about the flora and fauna in Campbell Valley Regional Park by joining naturalist Al Shulze, from the White Rock and Surrey Naturalists Society, in a nature walk along the park’s trails.

Shulze will talk about pond life, point out trees, bushes and ferns, he will also identify birds and share interesting facts about local butterflies. Learn about the history of the Park and the Annand/Rowlatt Farmstead, a designated heritage site that dates back to 1886.

The walk will take place from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, June 28.

Meet at Campbell Valley Nature House located at 20285 8 Ave. Use the south valley park entrance. This free program is a drop-in for all ages.
