Aldergrove Regional Park is one of at least 40 Canadian locations where the public can take part in the Kids Help Phone’s Walk so Kids Can Talk fundraiser.

The Aldergrove walk is for all ages, is five kilometres, and starts at 11 a.m. on Sunday.

People will use the Pepin Brook Trail. There will also be games, face painting, juggler, mascots, and more. A hot dog meal will be served for a $3 donation.

Sign up to walk online by clicking here.

Kids Help Phone provides a free 24/7 phone line so kids in need can get counselling and information on services for youth in their community.

The walk is Kids Help Phone’s largest fundraising event of the year, raising a significant portion of the revenue for the free, bilingual, confidential and anonymous 24-hour telephone and online counselling.
