Four Walnut Grove Secondary students and teacher Julia Bryant-Taneda are off to Changhua City, Taiwan to attend a Youth Can Make A Difference conference Oct. 24 to 30.
WGSS students Margaret Chen, Liam Foley, Erika Holmes and Maria Ponse will attend the conference which encourages youth to take leadership roles in the area of volunteering and fundraising. Six countries will be represented including Canada, United States, Swaziland, Japan and Taiwan.
Students who have attended this conference have benefited from the exchanges between countries and cultures.
