White stuff coats Langley in heaviest snowfall of the season

Langley residents have a day of snow to enjoy before the rain starts again.

Snow blanketed much of Langley after a significant snowfall on Friday.

As Langley residents shovelled driveways or headed outside to enjoy the new winter wonderland, temperatures warmed up slightly.

Environment Canada was predicting rain Saturday night and a chance of showers again on Sunday.

Some people decide to revel in the white stuff. A group of alumni from Trinity Western University went for a run in White Rock and one of them posted the footage on Instagram (jdeschiffart).

“The washed up track club was out in fine form today,” Joel De Schiffart said.
