Langley Hospice presents An Encore Evening of Spanish Guitar with Bill Walker on Thursday, Jan. 22, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Langley Hospice Supportive Programs Centre, 20660 48 Ave.
Walker is a Langley senior and husband of 40 years to Nancy Walker, a longtime Langley Hospice volunteer.
The self-taught guitarist describes himself as an “unorthodox guitar strummer” who has been playing since he was 14.
Walker’s program, will feature music with a range of influences, from Irish and Greek folk, to classical, musical theatre, modern pop and, of course, flamenco.
