Revolution — New Art for a New World is a bold and exciting feature documentary that covers a momentous period in the history of Russia and the Russian avant-garde. Focusing on the Russian Revolution and drawing on the collections of major Russian institutions, the film brings the stories of avant-garde artists like Chagall, Kandinsky, and Malevich, among others, to life. These pioneers flourished in response to the Utopian challenge of building a new art for a new world, only to be broken by implacable authority after 15 short years.

The Artist’s Garden: American Impressionism gives audiences an exclusive look at impressionist masterpieces from Connecticut’s Florence Griswold Museum, the home of American Impressionism. The film is based on the museum’s popular exhibition ‘The Artist’s Garden: American Impressionism and the Garden Movement, 1887–1920.’ Taking its lead from French artists like Renoir and Cezanne, the American impressionist movement followed its own path, revealing much about America as a nation and highlighting its desire to preserve nature in a rapidly urbanizing landscape. Travelling to studios, gardens and famous locations throughout the United States, UK and France, this mesmerising film is an artistic feast for the eyes. The film is narrated by Gillian Anderson.
