Concert for a friend at Crescent Legion

Benefit planned to help injured White Rock videographer

A benefit concert at Royal Canadian Legion Crescent Branch 240 is planned by friends of White Rock videographer Chris Edwards, injured in a December fall.

Friends of White Rock videographer Christopher Edwards are putting together a fundraising concert to help him recover from a fall that resulted in paralyzing injuries in December.

The concert, Friends With Benefits, is scheduled for April 14, 7 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion Crescent Branch 240, 2643 128 St. and will feature music by James Shepherd, Neil Harnett, Soundstem, Bastard Skinny and surprise guests from Edwards' past, which has included working with such bands as Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Alice In Chains and Blind Melon.

Organizers are also looking for donated items for the event's silent auction.
