Guitar and bass concert Friday at LCMS

Musicians invited to "bring your guitar to try out some of the tricks of the trade"

Langley Community Music School’s (LCMS) guitar and bass faculty are hosting a free interactive concert and workshop on Friday, Jan. 13, from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. The evening of performances and insights will showcase a variety of styles from rock, jazz, and blues to fusion and classical.

“Bring your guitar to try out some of the tricks of the trade, or come to listen to the music we’ll perform,” says BJ Block, guitar faculty member at LCMS. “Whether you’re just starting out, or are looking to reach the next level in your playing — this is an evening not to be missed.”

In addition to the workshop and performances, there will be an interactive question and answer period and an opportunity to visit with LCMS faculty. Performances will feature faculty members Ray Pullen, Tim Stacey, Paul MacDermot, BJ Block, and Sam Cartwright.

Langley Community Music School is located at 4899 207 Street, Langley.
